God's Helpers

God places people in my life
To be a guiding light.
To show me of His laws of love,
And teach me what is right.

They help me overcome my fears
They make me try new things.
They do whatever’s in their power
To help me find my wings.

They teach me how to praise the Lord
Despite what life may bring.
They tell me not to be afraid to
Lift my voice and sing.

They encourage me to be a friend
To all who are in need,
And help me to step out in faith
To go and take the lead.

They say I can pursue my dreams
As long as I believe.
With God’s help all is possible,
Great blessings I’ll receive.

I’m glad to have these people here
To guide me as I grow.
They shine for Christ in every way
Their love for Him does show.
